WordPress here I come.

I always considered you a slightly outdated if not all together old school approach to blogging. WordPress? Wasn’t that made in like, 1995?

Way to prove me wrong.

In my research to come across the best open source CMS (or CMS at all for that matter) I’ve discovered that WordPress is one of the top three. Hazah to you for changing my mind based on reviews and ratings. Here comes the real test. I now have to create a custom website, and somehow integrate it into a fully functional CMS in WordPress. That’s asking a lot for someone who rarely even blogs here myself.

Step one, download Dreamweaver CS5. Well, not really… this is like step 5 already for me after hours of research… but we can PRETEND I’m starting here from scratch. I’m also going to swing on over to Lynda.com, and see if I can get the low-down on this Dreamweaver CS5 + WordPress stuff (I’ve already listened to several free tutorials). Once I have the know-how, and the tools – what could stop me!?!

The only thing that scares me – not knowing PHP. Is this the end of CMS for me?
